Engage Weekly
Engage Weekly is a newsletter sent to all Appalachian students on a weekly basis. The purpose of this newsletter is to highlight opportunities for students to get involved and be engaged with the campus community, such as student organizations, programs or events, or student employment or peer leadership opportunities. Sometimes the letter may also include surveys or deadlines that are related to student engagement or involvement.
Complete the Engage Weekly Sign-up Form to receive Engage Weekly if you don't already -- you must have an active Appstate email address to receive the newsletter.

Submit an Event to the Newsletter
1. Go to engage.appstate.edu.
2. Create an event for your organization.
3. Make sure to include a concise but detailed description! How would you describe this event to someone unfamiliar with your organization in just a few sentences?
4. At the end of the submission process, you will be asked if you would like the event to be advertised in Engage Weekly. Select "Yes."
5. After confirming that you would like your event highlighted in the newsletter, you will be asked about the event's audience and frequency.
Note:
- Engage Weekly prioritizes events that are open to all students. Depending on the available space in the newsletter after highlighting such events, there may be room for events with a more narrow audience.
- Event submissions must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the newsletter's release.
Submit a News article to the Newsletter
1. Go to engage.appstate.edu.
2. Follow these instructions on creating a news article on Engage.
3. After creating your news article, navigate to the Engage Weekly News Submission form.
4. Complete the form, making sure to answer all questions, and submit it.
Note: News submissions must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the newsletter's release.
