What is Engage?
Engage is your one-stop connection to engagement and leadership opportunities at Appalachian State. Every member of our campus has access to Engage, and as a user, you can explore over 600 clubs, organizations, departments, and programs on campus. Engage resembles a social media atmosphere with organizations, events, and a campus calendar.
Why is Engage Beneficial To You?
For students
Engage is a tool for student engagement by making it easier to navigate leadership and involvement opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
For registered student organizations
Engage houses all necessary materials regarding student organizations in one space. Since communication is key in handling day to day organization business, Engage helps to ease communication between organization members and increases efficiency. Within Engage, members of a student organization may keep a log of past officers for reference purposes, post pictures, complete organization surveys, announce meeting schedules, post event information, and more.
Engage provides:
- Customized Communication through email, contact books, news, discussion boards, shared pictures and files, and Facebook Connect
- Campus Events Calendar through event and meeting tracking, shared calendars, distributed news, and to-do lists
- In-depth Data Collection through assessment features, paperless forms, community service log, membership rosters, and co-curricular transcripts
